Management by Objectives or MBO is described as the technique for personnel management where employees and managers work together to set goals and meet them within a certain time span. They also record and monitor the objectives within the given time span. The objectives and the strategies of an organization follow a top to bottom movement wherein they cascade from managerial to non-managerial positions and get translated into goals of each and every employee.
